Welcome to Bowland Outdoors! We started out in the heart of the Great British countryside situated between Preston and Lancaster in a beautiful village called Scorton – known locally as ‘the Gateway to the Forest of Bowland’ which is an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB). We are family run business established in 2009 specialising in premium country, equestrian and outdoors clothing, footwear and accessories. Our heritage and love of outdoor and country sports and activities reflects the brands and products we stock.
More recently we have moved to become an online only store, moving out of our original home at The Priory which has allowed us to expand both our stock, product offering and our online service.
We believe in our brands and don’t stock anything we don’t/won’t use ourselves. Our store stocks the latest country & equestrian clothing from the likes of Musto, Aigle, Ariat, Chatham Marine, Pampeano, Pikeur, Mountain Horse, Penelope Chilvers, Didriksons, Sporting Hares, Peter Scott, English Utopia, with more brands arriving each season.
30 Day Satisfaction Promise… We know that ordering online isn’t always ideal as sizing differs depending on the brand, style, fit etc. So to make life a bit easier, we offer a 30 day period where you can decide if the product is what you want and speak to us about any queries you may have. We have lots of experience in the fitting of our products including how much they ‘give’ and how they feel in real life situations. We’re always happy to exchange for other sizes or issue a refund if you prefer. All we ask is that the items are returned in the original packaging with all labels still attached and in a resellable condition within 30 days of you receiving the item. Customers are required to pay return postage however we will cover the cost of further sizes to be sent in exchange. We’re always happy to advise on which companies are the most cost effective for posting different size/weight parcels. If 30 days isn’t enough, speak to us and we’ll do our best to help.
